Catching up over a coffee

New Minister for Environment and Resource Management, Hon Kate Jones, dropped into the Desert Channels Group on Friday 4th March to catch up on what is happening around the region, and to familiarise herself with the major issues facing Western Queenslands.  While there, she took the time to trying our Latte for Landcare coffee machine which is used to raise funds for the Landare groups of the region.

As the Queensland representative on the Lake Eyre Basin Ministerial Forum, Minister Jones also took the time to familiarise herself with the giant mural map of the Lake Eyre Basin recently completed by our commercial arm, DC Solutions for the Ministerial Forum.  The Minister was pleased to be presented with the smaller, retail, poster version of the map to put on her office wall.
