DCQ works in partnership with, and is supported by, 3 implementation groups (Cooper's Creek Catchment Committee, Georgina Diamantina Catchment Committee and Desert Uplands Build-Up and Development Committee). These groups have extensive networks, expertise in natural resource management, and skilled staff. The positions are essential to the ongoing momentum and support of the regional planning process and its ability to deliver an accredited NRM Plan and Regional Investment Strategy for the DCQ area. The DCQ region is large and effective planning involves the utilization, support, and expertise of each individual of the DCQ team. This will ensure the best possible delivery of NHT 2 processes as well as the collation and development of the NRM Plan and Regional Investment Strategy. These positions will also support the on-ground activities of other DCQ projects through other funding sources. |
